FRY BOX addiction!

I have a strange problem:-)

EVERY time we go to a fast food place…
I take apart the containers and
think about how I can remake it with paper.
I just can’t help myself…
and my hubby knows too because
he sees me start eyeballing the boxes and
just hands over his FRY box without a word.
(he knows me all too well)
I can guarantee each and every time we leave
any fast food joint that there is a cardboard
box in my purse just waiting to be remade!

(I told you it was a strange problem that I have:-)

Yes, there is box in my scrap room closet
that is full of all sorts of fast food containers.
And yes, that box smells like fries.

This particular one is from a diner
here in my town that was featured on Food Network.
YEA!!! A new box to remake!!
Oh yeah, and yea us for having Food Network here. LOL!

This time I found a new use for my BRAIDED flowers.
Orange fabric…check.
Brown felt…check.

See how they have become pumpkins?
Eeeeiiiikkkk! So cute!
And perfect for FALL gift boxes:-)

So the next time you are at McD’s, Burger King,
or even Chic-fila…
keep your fry box because you will want to try this out.
They make great party favors or
even a teacher gift if you add a gift card.

So let’s get started…

1. Open the box completely and lay it out on a piece of card stock.
Trace around all the edges.

2. Fold back each fold and trace those lines too.

3. It should look like this when you are done tracing.

4. Cut around your lines carefully.

5. Put your original box back on top of your cutout.
Now you want to score all the folded edges…
(see step 3 here for your folds)
6. Look inside the original fry box to see where
the box was glued together.
Glue the paper box together in the same spot and let dry.

7. Now comes the fun part….
DECORATING!
Use up some paper scraps.
Glue on your braided pumpkin and cute ribbon.
Fill with some yummy pumpkin spice kisses
and give it away.
