(can you say container hoarder;-)
…it came with a free granola bar from Kashi.
Now the granola bar was good,
but I was way more interested in the fun box:-)
Please tell me that I am not the only one
that gets excited about fun boxes????
I put it in my scrapbook room and waited…
waited for the perfect time to make it.
Spring is finally here and that means
Easter is just around the corner!
And with Cadbury Eggs back in stores…
the time was now to make this box.
If you get a fun box in the mail or anywhere…
KEEP IT!!!
Open the box up and trace around all the edges.
Don’t forget to trace all the folded edges too…
just fold those back and trace.
It should look something like this when you are done.
Cut it out and score all the folded edges.
Use the original to see how it should look folded together.
Now fill it with some yummy candy!!
Love how the Cadbury’s were the perfect size:-)
This bunny stamp from the $1 bin at Michaels
was the perfect one to use on this project.
I also added some bling with some rhinestones.
(I have added this project to the DeNami Challenge.)
The ticket and twine just finish it up
and add some more fun!
Now to find someone to give this too…
because those eggs are calling my name:-)
(what? you don’t hear sugar items talking to you?)

How cute is that?! You’re so clever.
I don’t usually hear sugar things calling my name, but quite often the cheetos will all out start screaming at me! For real! I can’t help but free them from the bag right? Right?
My older son and I LOVE Cadbury cream eggs! Would it be super mean if I made him a cool box, but glued his shut….and then ate all the cream eggs by myself?
very well done, I never think to recreate, maybe just too tired. Saw the cadbury eggs today at target, kids love them not a fan but box yes!
Love the box! Sugar items scream at me all the time! Now I really want an egg! ugh… :S
{i really love cadbury cream eggs. hint…hint…}
ahem.
you’re so creative. I would never imagine looking at a box and thinking of how to do something like this.
sugar talks to me all the time. it is usually in a soothing voice that makes me want to come hither..
i would love a box like that, so as to disguise my cadbury eggs from my children and thus, enjoy them all by myself.
darling by the way!
Absolutley adorable box! I love the bling too! Thanks for playing along at DeNami!
That is so super cute! I normally keeps boxes and such but not sure if I would have kept that one thinking that I could recreate it.
Thanks for linking it up!
Brilliant!
Sweet little box…what a great way to dress up some cadbury eggs!

OK really you are cracking me up!! I just pulled out an Apple Jacks cereal box out of the recycling bin as I want to make a journal cover with it. LOL. Does it still sound that pathetic when I tell you we can’t buy Apple Jacks in Canada and they were here for a limited time only?? haha.
