A Few of My Favorite Finds…through Instagram.

Hooray for it being Friday and almost the weekend. I am so happy that you are here visiting me today. Today I wanted to share a few happy products that I am loving on this week…(if you follow me on Instagram…most will be a repeat for you:-)

Do you shop at American Eagle? I go in randomly. But this month I had my birthday coupon…yes, a whopping 15% off my purchase. Don’t be jealous of my savings:-) My husband just laughed when I told him what the coupon was for. But hey, it got me in the store where I bought a fun flowery shirt and a neon yellow tank. I am definitely a child of the 80′s because I am loving all the neon stuff!!!

I finally jumped on the colored paper straw band wagon and ordered some. Shop Sweet Lulu has so many fun photo prop goodies. I’m not sure what I am doing with the berry baskets, but I couldn’t pass them up. Everything came all wrapped in cellophane and twine…so cute!!!

The best part of going into Goodwill is finding brand new clothes and shoes with the tags still on them. Have you worn flowers and plaids together yet? It is my new favorite pattern style…that and flowers and stripes.

I went into Target for dish soap earlier this week. I should know better than to think that I could get out of that store with only one item. Of course the first stop is the dollar section where I found the cute little square containers and the little chalkboard plant pokes. Then on to the party section where I picked up fun polkadot napkins. And then why not stop at the office section and check out the Washi tape…I am still wondering why I only bought one color? And of course Raspberry M&M’s were a must throw in the cart item. I actually think I did pretty good for being in Target for an hour. Oh and if you were wondering, yes, I did remember the soap:-)
I really do like the Kitchen Aid beater blade. It helps keep the butter from clumping up all over the sides of the bowl. The only thing I wish is that it had the rubber edge on both sides. Overall it does a better job than the old one.

Yesterday was a “let’s stop for milkshakes and frapps” kind of a day. Thank goodness DQ and Starbucks are right by the school. The kids love when we surprise them with fun stops like that. It makes up for all the errand stops that I subject them to throughout the week. I keep telling myself that I will do it before school gets out, but so far that hasn’t happened much.

Last week I was at Meijer for some veggies that were on sale. How I ended up in the make up section, I don’t know. But I saw this nail polish from Wet & Wild called Mega Last. I am always skeptical of things that claim to last, but I am also a sucker for those claims too. So I bought a fun orange color. My daughter and I did two coats on our nails last Saturday…and the tips are just now starting to chip off. And that is after washing the dishes and showering every day! I loved it so much that I went and bought a rainbow of colors for the summer. I mean for $1.89 a bottle, why not?

Kohl’s is starting to be one of my favorite stores. It might be because they keep sending me $10 off coupons or maybe because every time I spend money there, they give me $10 coupons to come back. Or maybe because of the cute stuff I have been finding there lately…like these cute colored bead and chain earrings. Love them!!! My mother in law was with me and she picked them up and said “These just look like you.” She was so right! Plus with all the colors in them they pretty much go with everything!!!

I have seen a few reviews on the Garnier BB cream, so the last time I was at Walmart I threw a box in my cart. I actually really liked it…I mean for the $12 price it was pretty decent. I just wore it underneath my mineral powder and it kept my skin moisturized and creamy all day. I am curious how it will work once I get a tan because it only comes in light/medium and dark. I also picked up some ELF makeup when I was at Meijer…can’t beat $1 and they actually work.
What fun things in your life are you loving today???
