Last night we had a torrential downpour and thunderstorm.
Then it rained hard again about 5 am…
just as I remembered that I didn’t close the very back windows in the van.
Awesome!
At least the rain cleaned up the driveway where the mulch pile used to be.
And the grass and flowers are growing like crazy.
Keep on raining and growing…
because I have a VERY bad habit of forgetting to water things in the summer.
Yup, no green thumb here.
Something we do every single Mother’s Day is head out and buy pretty flowers.
I have learned to look for the annual plants…
they have a much better chance of surviving being around me:-)
How are you at growing things?
So last week was the biggest link party since the beginning of the year.
Thank you so much for making it a success…
yeah, you all are rock stars to me!!!
Thanks for being so awesome!
Today’s FAB 5

to wait until the next fair to get one!!!
My kids are always begging me to buy toaster struedels.
I hate to spend the money on them though.
I love that Aimee from Shugary Sweets has an easy
homemade STRAWBERRY STRUDEL so I can just make those instead.
And I can tell they taste better than the box ones….
see how much filling she used. YUM!

Oh no! I’ve done that way too many times. I too forget to water in the summer.
Thanks so much for hosting Jocelyn! The features look delicious and this party makes me drool each week waaah.
Good Morning
Thank you for hosting another party. I LOVE the features!
Thank you so much for hosting! I always drool over the food linked up here!! Yum! Have a great week!!
Hey girl, thanks for hosting and sharing my strawberry struedels! As for the green thumb, I love gardening. Each year I expand it more and more, one of these days there will be no grass left and it will all be gardens!
Have a great week!
Thanks for the shout-out! I’m so glad you liked my cheesecake idea!
Love your Trick or Treat Tuesdays -so many wonderful creations out there. Have a great day!
I’m terrible at growing things! I bought some tomato plants at our church and I am desperate for them not to die. I LOVE tomatoes! So sorry about your van!
Thanks for featuring my Hand-Breaded Tenderloin Sandwich in the Fab 5
Love your parties and I enjoy seeing what everybody brings! Have a great week!
Thank you for the party, sweet friend!
I hate that when I have one of those oops moments, especially during the night! But I agree, rain on the plants because if they get watered, they’re lucky. I do not have a green thumb AT ALL. I killed a topiary. How does that even happen? The only thing I can keep alive is, get this, an orchid. Thanks for hosting Jocelyn, that cheesecake and that sandwich…OMG.
The only time I have a green thumb is if I take a marker and color mine green… we may or may not be on our second raspberry bush this year… I don’t understand… they grow in the wild but as soon as I touch them they die… The hubby laughs everytime I bring a plant home. I planted a garden this year… we will see what happens! Hopefully he just takes care of it!I linked up Oatmeal Butterscoth Cookies!! Thanks for hosting!
Holy awesome looking cheesecake, batman! Thanks for hosting the party!
The Peanut Butter Brownie cup cheesecake looks amazing, its something I MUST bake asap!!
thanks so much for hosting each week
GREAT features
~Heather
Jocelyn,
Thanks for hosting! Boy do those features look delish!
I have no green thumb either, but thankfully it has never been an indication of how well I take care of other things…like kids for instance!
Thanks for hosting!
Gotta make the time EVERYDAY to water in the summer. I also spend the time watering me and my kid
Sorry for being so late tonight. LOVE that Chocolate PB Cheesecake! WOW!
Thanks for hosting!
Thank you for hosting! Have a wonderful week
I live in Phoenix and was seriously just thinking today that I can’t remember the last time it rained. My flowers from the winter are definitely wilting. They can’t make it through the summer on the sprinklers alone. I always feel like I live in such a backward seasons place! Love that guac grilled cheese
I am terrible at growing things. When we had our “real” house watering, planting flowers, etc was my husband’s job. Now living in the RV we have no yard to worry about.
Thanks for hosting. That PB cheesecake does look FAB!
Thank you so much for hosting!
