Cookies & Cream Sundae Sauce – Something Swanky

We may never come back from vacation…
it has been absolutely beautiful at every place we have gone.
Something about sitting on the beach listening to the waves crash
is just so relaxing.
Now if only I had a cup of this yummy ice cream in my hand too:-)

Today Ashton from Something Swanky is sharing a fun dessert.
I don’t remember when I first “met” her, but I just absolutely adore her now.

As soon as I saw how much she loves her sweets,
I knew we would be fast friends for life.
She also is fabulous at computer coding html jazz.
(my cute blog design was all done by her…isn’t she talented?)
Make sure you give her a warm welcome!
Hi friends!

Ashton here, from Something Swanky– where I blog about desserts and DIY blog design.

Mostly desserts, though. I’m really all about the desserts.

Which is how Jocelyn and I connected– we’re both crazy for the sweet stuff!
And I’m so glad she’s invited to me to guest blog on BruCrew today. What a doll :)

I’m a texture person, and that’s what really attracts me to Hershey’s Cookies and Cream chocolate bars. Someone was definitely using their thinking cap when they came up with this one– cookie chunks inside the chocolate!! That’s brilliance, ya’ll.
Likewise– I really like chunks in my ice cream.

So I brought these two lovelies together to make Cookies and Cream Sundae Sauce.

Enjoy!

Cookies & Cream Sundae Sauce

Ingredients:
  • 8 regular sized Cookies & Cream Hershey’s chocolate bars*
  • 3/4 c. Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1/4 c. – 1/2 c. White Chocolate Chips

Instructions:

  1. Break the Hershey bars in pieces into a medium sized saucepan. Add the whipping cream.
  2. Stir over low heat until melted.
  3. Add in 1/4 c. white chocolate chips and stir until partially melted. If you’d like the sauce to be a little thicker, add more white chocolate chips. If you like it thinner, stick with the 1/4 c.
  4. Remove from heat and serve over ice cream!
Thanks again to Jocelyn for being such a wonderful hostess!
And I hope you’ll swing by and see me over at Something Swanky!

I’ll be sure to have dessert waiting for you.
