Trick or Treat Tuesday

I am so excited tonight!  I seriously can’t stop smiling right now.  No, I didn’t win the lottery or meet someone famous.

One of my biggest take aways from the Online Blog Conference I attended last month, was to share the things I have created with the respective brands that I have used.  Last week I made Reeses PB Turkeys and decided to go for it and share  on the Reeses FB page.  I did it in hopes that they would like it, but I wasn’t counting on anything.  Imagine my surprise when I got a text from my bestie telling me, that not only did they share it, but that it was going viral.  In 2 hours there were over 11,000 likes.  This smile isn’t going anywhere for a while.

Now I’m totally not sharing this to brag about myself…man, I sure hope it doesn’t come across that way.  I want to encourage YOU to step out of your comfort zone and share the things you make with those brands you use.  You never know who will see it.  It could be the perfect picture that the brand has been looking for to promote their products.  Obviously share within reason, but let those brands see what you can do!!!

How many of you are traveling for Thanksgiving this week?  We are headed to my inlaws for a few days.  I have a batch of peanut butter turkeys that need eaten and a Pumpkin Cheesecake Brownie Pie to bake tomorrow for the trip.  I do like not having to make the entire meal, but I miss having leftovers in my fridge for a week.

Have a wonderful week with your families and remember to stop and be thankful for everything God has placed in your life.  We are truly blessed.

Now for the fun party…show me what you have made so I can stare googley eyed for days at your awesomeness.
