My kids are on spring break so I haven’t had a ton of blog time this week…
or even had much time to do a lot of crafting.
But I did get these two crafts done last weekend…
at least I am getting these posted before the deadline.
The first one is a card that I did for the
Embellish card challenge.
I make cards all the time but they are never manly.
This challenge made me think outside my box.
I am so thrilled with how this turned out.
I also came across this fun challenge at
The Tattered Tab.
I even conned my BFF Missy to do it along with me!
You had to use three household items
cereal box, twine, and paint chips.
Mine isn’t a new idea but hey I used all three items.
I cut a wreath shape out,
wrapped it in twine,
cut flowers out of paint chips.
(side note…I finally got my cuttlebug out…
and I LOVE IT!!!!!)
I don’t know why I haven’t used it…
now I want to buy lots more dies for it!!!!!
Paper Trey Ink here I come to buy more dies!!!!
I featured ya again. I just love this!

Oh Wow — you did AWESOME with the challenge!! I wanted to participate, but didn’t have any paint chips.
I love this wreath – so very pretty!
LOVE your wreath. There are lots and lots of wreaths all over the internet and this one really charms me!! I heart it! And paper flowers? my favorite. It’s perfection!! Hope you don’t mind, but I’ll be making one for my kitchen. My kitchen door is bare. And so sad. Needs an accessory and this is JUST the thing! Thank you so much for sharing. 🙂
great card and beautiful wreath!!! you are so good at whipping things up!
Love the wreath, I can hardly believe that you created it just from those items. Amazing and so inspirational, I have to have a go myself.
so pretty and creative!
Glad you conned me, that was fun! Of course your stuff is soo cute!!
Awesome card. My sister-in-law made one similar for my brother’s first Father’s Day a few years back. Men so often are forgotten.
More importantly, your wreath is AWESOME!!! I love it. some copying may occur if time allows.
I agree- it seems so much harder to make “manly” cards but this one is very fun!
And I love the wreath- how clever, and what a pretty new decoration for spring!
PS. Thanks for the encouragement on all my tests – I made it through them and am looking forward to the weekend!
This is sooo freaking adorable! Loving all the spring colors and the pretty paper flowers! So glad you played along with 3 items too!
