Let me start off by saying how happy it makes me
to see my recipes and pictures popping up all over the web.
I LOVE the fact that so many people are trying my recipes
and like them so much that they want to share with their readers.
Don’t stop sharing…
BUT let’s talk about some common blog courtesy.
a. If you love an item SO much, that you take lots of your time
making it or blogging about it,
please make sure to give proper credit to the original author.
It isn’t nice to plagiarize someone’s hard work…
or to steal their pictures:-(
b. When you feature someone’s work on your blog or facebook,
it is nice to send that blog author
an email saying you used their stuff.
They will enjoy coming by your blog and reading
all the nice comments too.
After all, who doesn’t like comments?
With all that said and done…
Do you think it would be a bad thing
to start water marking my pics???
Winter colds are the worst!
I have been fighting a head cold for about a week now…
and I am no better off than when I started.
I don’t think any of the meds I have been using are doing a thing for it.
Anyone have any advise on how to stay sane with an almost teen boy?
He is the sweetest kid ever, but I am going bonkers with all the silly boy antics…
I mean seriously do we need to go around the house
constantly trying to jump out at everyone trying to “scare” them
or giving everyone a “cheese touch”
(whatever that is…I am told Diary of a Wimpy Kid)
My patience levels are not going to survive him, I am afraid.
Can anyone else believe that it is Thanksgiving week already?
I seriously feel like it was just summer vacation.
I can’t wait to get all my fun holiday decorations out on Friday.
I already put up my Christmas colors here on my blog…
now time to pull out some fun Christmas crafts.
Stay tuned for some fun tutorials…
In honor of Thanksgiving week,
I have decided to offer free shipping on any orders
at the Trendy Owl this week.
It is just a small way to say thank you
to all my wonderful etsy buyers.
