Happy Easter week. Do you have any fun plans for celebrating?
Friday we will be going to our church’s Good Friday service that we have every year with another local church. We will spend some time reflecting on what Christ did for us so many years ago on the cross. It is a quiet service remembering how Christ gave His only Son to die on the cross for our sins. He loved us so much He was willing to do that. Then on Sunday we will rejoice in the fact that the grave could not keep Him down. Jesus arose from the grave and is alive today! Hallelujah! What a special day of remembering and knowing how much our Lord loves us!!!! It really is one of the best days of the year!!!
We also will do some fun things with our kids on Saturday. No year is complete without an egg hunt, a fun Easter basket, and a huge homemade peanut butter egg. I’m sad and happy that my kids are big enough that they don’t care about coloring eggs. Sad because that means they are growing up…but so happy not to have to deal with colored dyes!
Let’s get to the party and see what fun things you have been up to this week.
