Did everyone have a great Easter weekend? We had a fantastic day at church celebrating our risen Lord. It was a powerful service, and I was so thankful to be a part of it. There are days I get so busy that I don’t always take the time to keep my Lord as the #1 priority of my life. The message on Sunday was of course the celebration of Christ rising, but it was also the end of our Life series. It was a great reminder to not let life become so busy and so distracting that we forget to include Christ!!!
We also had a fun day with my hubby’s family. The kids of course love my in-laws Easter egg hunt because every egg has change in it! And all the candy that came home with us…this is not going to be good for my diet. We now have tons of peanut butter eggs and mini candy bars…all the stuff that I have a hard time saying no too. I already downed 3 mini Reese’s eggs tonight…at least I ran today right? But that can’t keep happening, or I will start gaining back the weight that I worked so hard to lose!!! Are you joining me in saying NO to the candy? Let’s all start on that tomorrow 🙂
Now it is time to get to the fun link party. You guys are amazing! I can’t even believe it when I log on and see how many people are now joining us each Tuesday. Thank you so much for making Sparkle Time such a fab party!!! We couldn’t do it without you!!!

Yes we had a great Easter too! My husband is the music director and he did a great job in celebrating through song. There was a brass quartet and a string trio. It was glorious!
Dang – I always forget I’m supposed to put the name of my recipe, not MY NAME. It’s so different when I leave regular comments – then I AM supposed to put my name, lol. Oh well, entry #342 – I guess I have named my Carrot Cake Michelle 🙂
