I feel like I have been such a bad blogger lately.
I have tons of things I think about and want to post,
but then I just don't get around to it.
I have been hit by the spring cleaning fairy...
and I have a bunch of bags ready for Goodwill.
I promise to get back into the bloggy swing of things.
Thanks for hanging in with me during this dry spell.
Top Ten list for this Tuesday!
10. Seeing new flowers springing up everywhere.
9. Feeling the pain from my Taebo workout...so worth it.
(I have lost 8 lbs. since Feb, only 10 more to go)
8. Seeing the wind blowing through my open windows
7. Smelling my room full of lilac blooms.
6. Going to Goodwill and totally scoring tons of "new to me" clothes for my kids.
5. Getting good news:-)
4. Planning fun things to do on our vacation with the kiddos.
3. Making more yummy choc/peanut butter goodness.
2. Having fun with a sorts of craftiness/craziness.
1. Creating a new centerpiece with my newest obsession.
I am totally obsessing over these white milk glass vases!
On our trip to PA I scored a few from my dad's basement...
I decided they needed a new home to love them.
They were just sadly sitting in the basement
covered in dust.
( I did ask before I removed them from the dust)
And now every time I am at goodwill,
I find another vase.
And yes, I buy them every time...
hey I said it was an obsession:-)
I loved how they looked on my table,
but it needed something else.
Target to the rescue!!!!
These fun pink/fuschia plates were in the $2.5o dollar spot.
I heart Target so much!
Is there anyone else that just loses
all track of time and space when you enter that store???
I think they put something in the air vents...
why else do I go in and not come out until I have spent all my money?
(Lets just not mention the lack of self control I have when I see cuteness:-)
Holly
This is a beautiful centerpiece! I only recently discovered the milk glass and scored a few pieces at goodwill. Thanks for linking up to Tickled Pink!

Your table looks so good! I LOVE those plates too! I think I need to go get some of those at Target! And yes I lose all track of time when I go in there! There really is inspiration EVERYWHERE in that store! 🙂
Cassie
I adore Target! I really have to literally AVOID the store when I'm trying to budget. I lose control in that place!
Kristin
Really like the milk glass vases all together like this. Don't think I've seen this before! It's so springy/summery! Oh, and yes, Target is definitely a drugged place. I don't know what they do to you when you walk in, but they make it IMPOSSIBLE to ever walk out emptyhanded! Ha! Is there a support group for that? 🙂
Evelyn Perkins
I heart things in collections. Like rocks or keys or buttons or books or...milk vases! I like what you did with the plates!
Way to go on the weight loss!!
Tammy@ Not Just Paper and Glue
I think the milk glass vases are beautiful as well. Glad you were able to retrieve them from the basement.

They must pump in oxygen like the casinos do, lol. Those trays are the perfect touch to make it look chic!
Jessica
ooooo I love it! I know if I made these they would look awful! Im not crafty...
Sabrina
Congrats on the weight loss! That is awesome.
Yes, Target takes all my money too. I like to refer to it as a "reverse ATM machine", LOL! I just love walking around in there and looking through the clothes, the shoes, and the home decor stuff.
Those milk vases are beautiful. I don't think I've ever seen them before but I'll be making a trip to Goodwill myself ;-).
Jennychick
Love your centerpiece! And I just love Target as well! Sometimes I go there on my lunch break, just to look around, even if I don't need anything! My friend and I call them our "Target lunches"!
Jocelyn
What a great and uplifting post!!
I just adore the vases...now you have inspired me to break out the ones I have sitting in my cabinets!!!
I too love Target...I could spend all day in there....just looking at all the goodies!!
Wishing you a great day!!!
Stephanie
I too have a Target problem. I think I even saw a Facebook group that was something along the lines of "I went to Target to buy shampoo and spent $150". Too funny. But I think those vases on the pink plates are adorable! Thanks for sharing.

What a great center piece! I love it! I need some center piece ideas, and I may have gotten one from you just now!
I too have been spring cleaning...we are doing a yard sale on Saturday.
And yes I love Target too...they really do put something in the air vents...my husband thinks Target is a money pit!
heehee!
sanieannie
LOVE Target! Now the only way I can go shopping there with my two peeps, is if I buy the 1.50 popcorn/drink combo first to occupy their time. Granted the cleaning crew has to follow us with every step cause we leave a trail of popcorn throughout the store, but hey, at least it keeps them happy, which in return keeps momma happy!
Also, you're so stink'n creative! Wish I had that motivation to be more creative. Or at least more "space" to be creative...tiny house = not a lot of room for creativity.
ReJOYce!
I also love Target. I totally lose all track of time and space when I enter that store. Love your centerpiece! Have a Great Day!
Mich
Love the centerpiece idea!
envious of # 9 on your list.
Hope you are having a beautiful day!

the centerpiece is fantastic!!! i love the milk glass! congrats on dropping 8 lbs! woo hoo!!!
Mindy
Some sort of airborne drug there does make total sense.. there is something in the air there that also makes my kids behave so I can shop even longer!!
Mrs. C
love the centerpiece! so cute!
the thrifty ba
just so dang cute-from someone also from pa...south philly to be exact!
grace
I love milk glass. Between it and my carnival glass, I've about filled up my curio cabinet, that big glass one from the high school auction. I'm jealous of your flowers, I've been trying to pick wisteria for a week now and can't remember to bring scissors with me when I know I'll be driving by it. But, I did get my garden tilled so I get to plant some flowers there today 🙂
Traci
What a fresh and lovely centerpiece! I too, am obsessed with milk glass - reminds me of my grandmothers. And the lilacs remind me of home - which happens to be PA. Are we related or somethin'?
