I love being able to make some thing that is super easy and super cheap.
My daughter’s room has been “mostly” done for the last few months.
You know the phase…
all painted, curtains, cute desk lamp,
name letters, fabric covered bulletin board,
and cute bedspread.
Wow, that makes it sound like it was done:-)
But then there was that one wall…
it was blank and just needed something.
I had in my mind some sort of collage.
But I wasn’t sure if I wanted to do pictures…
then I found these square frames at the Dollar Tree
and I knew that was what I wanted to use.
They all had the fabric hanger loop at the top
and I thought about removing all of them and
hanging my grid.
Then reality set it…
there was NO WAY
I would get them exactly even.
And crooked pictures just doesn’t say cute.
So I kept the loop on the top 5 and cut off the other ones.
Then I used my handy dandy glue gun
to glue even strips
attaching them together.
I filled each frame with cute scrapbook paper .
They looked cute, but it still needed something else…
Fabric flowers to the rescue.
What a cute way to dress up some cheap frames, huh?
And the best part is that I already have the stuff to do that:-)
Love when I don’t have to buy more supplies to make a project.
What projects have you been making lately?

That’s a very cute way to do that! 😀 I have been wanting to do a frame collage kind of thing for my wall, but I have come to the conclusion my house as it is right now is too chaotic, and it will just look like clutter on the wall; but this organized, tidy way actually looks like it would work! Thanks! 😀

Those are really fun! I need to do more crafty things around my house. My walls need some pizazz, but first they need paint. We’ve been in our house almost two years and I’ve only painted the bathroom different. The rest of the walls are the same color. 🙂
That is the cutest!! You are so clever!! I’m forwarding this to my friend you recently moved and is struggling with the same thing in her daugher’s room.
