Are you ready for the 4th of July this year?
It seems so strange to me that it is on a Wednesday…
for some reason I just feel like it should be a weekend thing.
I guess that’s just me.
We will be headed North to hang out with family for the day.
Lots of playing with the cousins, chilling with the adults,
and of course eating lots of yummy food.
Do you guys have fun plans for the day too?
We usually do some sort of fireworks, but
here in our town they have been banned.
I’m not sure about the town we are headed to,
so I don’t know if we will get to see any this year.
But with it being as dry as it has been this year,
I would rather everyone just be safe and fire free.
It’s time to show off some of the great things that were shared last week.
I’m going to start showing off the link with the most clicks.
I think that will be a fun new addition to our party:-)
Let’s get it started!!!
This delicious looking CUCUMBER SALAD from
Recipes We Love had the highest amount of clicks
from the party last week.
This salad is gorgeous, I can see why
everyone wanted to head over and check it out:-)
Here are our top picks for the
FAB 5 this week!!!
How cute are these WASHI TAPE FLAGS?
Shaken Together shows us just how easy these fun cupcake toppers are.
Now I need to find some more washi tape:-)
BLACK BEAN VEGGIE BURGERS from It Bakes Me Happy
are on my list of meal ideas for next week.
We have tried chick peas and love it, so I am
excited to try black beans next.
This delicious MINT BROWNIE DELIGHT looks so good!!!
Stella B’s Kitchen shared this amazing looking dessert…
yup, I need this in my life very very soon:-)
These fun SUNSHINE DONUTS from Hoopla Palooza
made me smile when I saw them.
How cute are the sugar dot sprinkle eyes??? Love these!!!
Who wants to do laundry and dishes when you can make this
awesome BUTTERFINGER BARK that
Lemons for Lulu shared!!!
Chocolate and peanut butter with lots of yummy crushed candy bars…
I am in bark heaven just even looking at it!!!
Are you ready to get your party on???

Thanks so much for the feature! We LOVE doing your party!
Have a great 4th! Fireworks are banned here in the boonies since we are surrounded by fields and mountains, but in the town we are going to they are not since it is within the city limits. Hope you get to see some!
Hi Jocelyn – I hope you have a wonderful 4th, with or without fireworks, it’s family time that everyone remembers.
Thanks for hosting. Have a great week.
JOCELYN! Thanks for Hosting!! I love Tuesdays @ Brucrew life (and everyday at Brucrew!) Have a happy and safe 4th of July!!!
Have a wonderful fourth Jocelyn! Our city does allow fireworks, but it seems so strange to me, because for the first 30 years of my life they were banned where I lived. The fourth is fun no matter what! 🙂 And you’re right…it should be a weekend. Or the holiday should be the 4th and any days off after to make a weekend.
Butterfinger bark?!? Sounds dangerously delicious 🙂 Thanks for hosting and happy 4th of July to you!
Becca @ Crumbs and Chaos
