Apple Blondies

These Butterfinger Apple Blondies combine sweet apples chunks and crunchy candy bars to create a decadent blonde brownie treat. This simple fall treat comes together in minutes and will get rave reviews from everyone.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon table salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup diced apples
  • 3/4 cups crushed Butterfinger candy bars (6 snack size)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 9x13 pan with nonstick baking spray.
  2. Beat the sugar and butter until light and creamy. Add the eggs and vanilla and beat again.
  3. Sift together the flour, cinnamon, salt, and baking powder. Slowly add it to the creamed mixture.
  4. Stir in the apple chunks and crushed candy bars gently. Spread the mixture in prepared pan. Bake for 40-45 minutes.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool completely before cutting into squares. Store in a sealed container.
