Banana Bread French Toast

Banana Bread French Toast Sticks are a delicious and easy breakfast you can make ahead. Great for the days you dash out the door!

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Sour Cream Banana Bread
  • 3 Eggs
  • 3/4 cup Milk
  • 2 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 stick Butter

Instructions

  1. Cut the loaf of bread into 12 slices. Cut each slice into 2 sticks.
  2. Whisk together the eggs, milk, cinnamon, honey, and vanilla in a large, but shallow bowl.
  3. Dip the sticks in the egg mixture, coating both sides. Let the excess egg drip off before placing the sticks on a baking sheet.
  4. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Place a little bit of butter in the pan and melt.
  5. Pan-fry the bread in the butter for 2-3 minutes per side. Add more butter as needed. Serve immediately with syrup.
