Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons dark cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons monk fruit sweetener
  • 1/2 teaspoon coconut extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk, divided

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the dark cocoa powder, sweetner, extracts, and 2 Tablespoons almond milk over low heat until everything is dissolved and a syrup forms.
  2. Whisk in the rest of the milk and heat over medium heat until hot. Do not boil.
  3. Pour into a mug and add toppings, if desired. Makes 1 serving.

Notes

  • Using almond or coconut milk keeps this dairy free. You can use regular milk, if your diet allows that.
  • Use a dairy free whipped topping or coconut whipped cream to keep this keto and dairy free.
