Ingredients
1 1/2 Tablespoons dark cocoa powder
1 1/2 Tablespoons monk fruit sweetener
1/2 teaspoon coconut extract
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
1 cup unsweetened almond milk, divided
Instructions
Whisk together the dark cocoa powder, sweetner, extracts, and 2 Tablespoons almond milk over low heat until everything is dissolved and a syrup forms.
Whisk in the rest of the milk and heat over medium heat until hot. Do not boil.
Pour into a mug and add toppings, if desired. Makes 1 serving.
Notes
Using almond or coconut milk keeps this dairy free. You can use regular milk, if your diet allows that.
