Soft toasted marshmallows and candy bars make this batch of Peanut Butter Fluffernutter Cookies the perfect after school snack or cookie jar treat.

Ingredients
1 yellow cake mix
8 Tablespoons butter, softened
1 egg
4 ounces cream cheese
1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
18 large marshmallows, cut in half
36 peanut butter chocolate candy bars, unwrapped
Instructions
Mix together the cake mix, butter, egg, cream cheese, and peanut butter until a sticky dough from. Refrigerate the dough for at least 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Scoop out 36 even dough balls. Roll them into a a ball and place on a cookie sheet. Bake for 8-9 minutes.
Remove the pan from the oven and change the heat setting to broil.
Press half a marshmallow onto the top of each cookie. Put the pan back in the oven and broil for 1-2 minutes. Remove the pan as soon as the marshmallow starts to turn brown.
Let the cookies cool for 2 minutes on the pan, then gently transfer them to a piece of parchment paper on the counter.
Press a candy bar on top of each toasted marshmallow. Let the cookies cool completely before storing in a loosely sealed container.
