Have you ever done something really dumb?
Like put your purse in the shopping cart...
and then walk away to look at clothes?
Not just away where you can still see the cart...
but away through the clothes almost to the other side.
Yea, that was my "dumb" moment yesterday.
My daughter and I were looking at girly clothes...
and I completely forgot that I had put my purse
on the seat of the cart.
Did I realize that it wasn't on my shoulder???
No.
Not until I wandered slowly back to the cart.
It was only a few minutes, but still...
God was watching out for us,
because everything was still in there when I got back.
It sure was enough to make me feel sick for a while 🙁
Maybe it is all the sugar that I have on the brain
that is making me be so forgetful!
One thing I won't be forgetting soon
is how yummy these Salted Caramel Coffee Chip Cheesecakes were.
Salted caramel just gets me every single time!
These would be great little treats to have on hand
for a super bowl party this weekend.
You could even top them with a football shaped Oreo cookie
instead of the pretzel...just sayin'.

Kara @ Mine for the Making
I do "dumb" things like that all the time...especially when multitasking. I have too many things going on and then the "dumb" mistakes take over 😉 Glad your purse was safe and sound! These look amazing by the way...holy moly YUM. Anything cheesecake has me sold...but add caramel and chocolate chips...oh heaven help me!

First off, let me tell you that I've definitely left my purse somewhere and walked away, only it wasn't in a shopping cart. It was on a rack of clothes and I walked FAR away from it. I didn't realize that it was gone until I was at the register and I had to pay for the clothes. Thankfully God was watching out for me too!
Secondly, those mini cupcakes look amazing. I love anything coffee flavored and the caramel gives it that extra sweet kick. Thanks for sharing!

This looks so delicious. I love sweet and salty. I have foregetful moments all the time! At least your purse was there and you didn't lose the kid. That's what I tell myself - it's a good day- didn't lose either kid!
The Answer Is Chocolate
As always, these look amazing! So glad everything worked out OK. Had that gut wrenching moment a couple of weeks ago when I went to pay for something at JoAnn's (where I didn't need to be!) and realized my debit card wasn't there. FREAKED out because it had been three days since I last used it so I didn't know it was gone. Thankfully, it was still at the last place I used it and they were hoping I'd call!
I need one of these just thinking about that!

GAH!! These are so yummy looking! I planned on making some mini cheesecakes for my boyfriend and I on Valentine's Day and these might be it 🙂 & don't you hate those forgetful moments? I especially hate the ones where you walk around the house like a coocoo and don't realize what you're walking around for and what you're looking for! 🙁 at least it isn't something scary like losing your purse which I'm glad you didn't!
Holly
I've so done that!! Fortunately for me my purse was still there too! Lol These little cheesecakes sound divine!
