These Chicken Stuffed Shells are bursting with flavor and are a perfect choice for a quick and easy dinner, especially on busy nights. The whole family loves the tasty flavor that comes from the creamy Alfredo sauce and bacon.
Chicken Alfredo Shells
I've noticed that Alfredo sauce is becoming a common ingredient in some of my pasta dinners. I used it in chicken Alfredo gnocchi and then shared a homemade version in this bacon shrimp Alfredo.
I also just realized that most of my pasta recipes contain bacon, which is really funny because I'm not a huge bacon fan. I must have been eating bacon wrong all these years. It's actually quite delicious covered in lots of cheese and sauce!
I realized that I must have been eating bacon wrong all these years. I do like it...as long as it is covered in tons of cheese and sauce! It's pretty tasty this way!
There was an extra box of shells sitting in my cupboard and an opened bag of bacon crumbles sitting in the fridge. Yes, I cheat and buy the precooked crumbled stuff from Sam's Club just so I don't have to cook bacon. Don't hate on me for that! Plus, there was some cooked chicken in the fridge that needed to be used up, so it was time to create another fun and easy pasta dinner.
If you cook the noodles the night before, you can have this dinner on your table in about 30 minutes. I like cooking the shells and placing them on a baking sheet to cool. Then, toss them with some olive oil and refrigerate until needed.
Melt the cream cheese, stir in everything else, stuff the cooked shells, and then cover with Alfredo sauce and cheese! Then wait impatiently for the cheesy goodness to be done so that you can stuff your face! Sounds absolutely perfect, right?
Our kids gobbled this one down quickly, so I guess that means it's time to think up another fantastic pasta idea!

Hi,
I’m just visiting cos i was on a parade on Melissassouthernstylekitchen.com about stuffend shells.
Now i want to ask you for your recipe for homemade alfredosauce since i’m from the Netherlands and we don’t know Alfredosauce. I know the flavour, and loooooove it, cos we have been on vacation for 2,5 weeks in Florida, in Orlando to be exact. If you have such a recipe, will you please give me the link where i can find it?
Thanks a lot in advance!
Have a wonderfull day and enjoy the sunshine.
By the way....i love your cooking and writing style!

Wow, I made this tonight for dinner and was it a hit!!!! I thought I'd get two meals out of this, but my husband and son loved it so much they ate two helpings apiece. My daughter, who despises bacon (I know, really???) loved this pasta. Everyone asked that I make sure to keep this in my recipe file and add it to your fall/winter family favorites. Thanks so much for an easy, delicious recipe!!
