And this week was no different than most...
I had the urge to melt something and
add it to my butter cream frosting.
more sugar added to a buttery sugary frosting.
Did you know that most candy bars
can be melted down and whipped into
your fav butter cream frosting recipe?
Hhhhmmmm,,,now I am wondering what else to melt down???
Nothing will be safe in my kitchen for now 🙂

In the store there are minis (about and inch) and fun size (about 2 inches) milky ways. Which would you recommend?
Jocelyn
The recipe says to use 8 fun sized candy bars for the frosting. If you want them on top of the cupcakes as well, you would need to buy more though. I hope that helps and you enjoy the cupcakes!

My frosting melted when I put the melted milky ways in 🙁 Did I do something wrong? Help!!!!
Jocelyn
I am so sorry to hear it didn't work for you. Did you pour all the melted candy bars into the frosting at once? For this frosting you need to have the mixer going while you slowly pour the candy bar mixture into the frosting. Since it is just butter and chocolate, you should have been able to refrigerate a little bit to get it to set up again.
