...LOVING - all things mint and chocolate this time of year:-)
Rice Krispie treats are the one thing I can eat all day long. I usually just eat a small sliver every time I come in the kitchen, and then before you know it half the pan has mysteriously disappeared. These ones have powdered brownie mix stirred into the melted marshmallow making them extra chocolatey. Melted chocolate and andes mint pieces on top make these that much more decadent. I knew I wouldn't be able to stay out of this pan for long, so I bagged them up and sent them with my husband to work. I wonder if the guys at his work are going to miss all these treats or are going to be happy because they won't be gaining so much weight come January:-)
I guess I better start thinking of new ways to dispose of all these goodies I can't be trusted around:-)

"Rice Krispie treats are the one thing I can eat all day long" - you and I alike, sister!!!! I can never get enough of them. And Jocelyn... when mint and chocolate/brownies are thrown into the mix.. wow... you'd have to literally PRY the pan out of my hands!
Tanya
I like your list, I could relate to so many of those!!! I'm such a purist with Rice Krispie treats but I don't know why???? I should be eating these instead! Love chocolate and mint!
teresa

Hayley @ The Domestic Rebel
Jocelyn, these look delicious! I am a closet Rice Krispy fiend. I don't know why I never make them, but I seriously love them--and I am loving this brownified version as well. So gooey and chocolatey!
Jessica@AKitchenAddiction
I have to send baked goods with my husband to work, too, otherwise I eat way too many! These sound incredible!
Elaine @ Cooking to Perfection
I'm usually not a fan of rice krispie treats, but these look amazing. I love the chocolate mint flavors you gave them. Hard not to love anything with chocolate and mint!

Cheers to the Starbucks holiday cups! Peppermint mocha all the way. It would be even better with one of these fab rice krispie treats to accompany it!
Julie @ Table for Two
LOVING the BOGO at sbux!! such a great deal ๐ black friday makes me nervous so i never go haha, maybe i'll shop online and make these yummy treats!
Jocelyn
I'm not sure we will do any shopping on Black Friday either...it gets crazy out there. Online shopping with treats sounds way better:-)
Ashley @ Kitchen Meets Girl
Oooh, I got the skinny peppermint mocha today (aaaaaand, I might have also snuck some of my husband's gingerbread) - so good! And these rice krispie treats? With the brownie mix and mint chips? They are calling my name!!
Jocelyn
They kept calling my name too...I still heard them, even after I sent them to work with my husband:-)
Becca @ Crumbs and Chaos
Oh Andes Mint Chips...SO GOOD!! At my house, I have to put a noisy lid on the rice krispie treats so that it's obvious someone is getting into them...keeps me accountable when I can't sneak bites quietly ๐
Jocelyn
I will have to try that noisy lid trick next time. The only problem is that no one is home with me during the day to hear the noisy lid:-)
Aimee @ ShugarySweets
One thing (among many) that we have in common. Our serious love of Krispie Treats. OMG these look awesome, love the brownie mix. Mmmm.

My hubby is coming shopping with me next Friday. We'll be at my parents'...built in babysitters! ๐ Love these krispie treats...yum. I need to get better time planning done too. Sigh. ๐
Jocelyn
Time management is the one thing I am setting out to conquer this next year...haven't figured out how, but that's what I need to do! Any ideas?
The Witch's Kitchen
I send things to work with my hubby too...or just take them with me to work to pawn off on others. If I didn't I wouldn't be able to fit through the doorway!
These look FABULOUS!
Jocelyn
I hear you!!! Too much baking goes on in my kitchen...and I have the tight jeans to prove it. The thought of not fitting through a door has me planning a gym date for the morning:-)

Brownie krispie treats... For reals? I can see why they mysteriously end up going missing, I'd be right there with you!
I'd love it if you came over to my Sugar & Slice Sunday Link party and link these bad boys up!
Jocelyn
Yup, mysterious how they kept disappearing:-)
