When life gets busy and I need a quick treat, I usually make a dump cake. It's my favorite dessert because it is so easy. Seriously, you dump the ingredients in a cake pan and let the oven do the work.
Last week, I made a few batches of peach pie filling, so I had a bowl of leftovers sitting in the fridge waiting to be used. Making a peach dump cake was the easiest dessert recipe I could think of.
All you do is spread the filling in a pan, sprinkle a store-bought cake mix on top, add some butter, then bake. That's it. The buttery topping gets golden and crispy while the peaches bubble underneath, making every bite sweet and gooey.
