Mocha Mint Cookies

Mocha Mint Cookies - chocolate mocha cookies topped with a fudge mint candy
Do you ever “lose” things?
What I really mean
is put something away,
and then totally
forget where YOU put it?
Sadly, I do this ALL the time…
like the other night for instance.
I looked everywhere for my old camera bag.
It still had my star filter in it and
I just knew that I had put it “somewhere”.
Mocha Mint Cookies - chocolate mocha cookies topped with a fudge mint candyWhere that was eluded me for about an hour…
I had to eat cookies to help calm down (don’t judge)
then I remembered that I put it
on a pile of sweaters in my closet…duh.
More clothes had been piled on top of it…
no wonder I couldn’t find it:-)I wish I could say this was a once in a while thing…
but it happens to me ALL the time.
Things just “disappear” and then I get mad/upset
because they aren’t where I remember them being.
But then they show up in another place because
I “put” them away.
Oh, bother!
Being organized doesn’t help if you are forgetful;-)

Mocha Mint Cookies - chocolate mocha cookies topped with a fudge mint candyGood thing I didn’t lose this mocha cookie recipe…
because you definitely want to try these.
They were SO yummy!!!!

And they are small, so you can eat more of them.
And smaller cookies, means smaller calories, right?
Don’t burst my bubble by telling me different!

These look so yummy! I am very forgetful too. I think all creative people are. It is because we have so many ideas in our mind that it doesn’t leave room for much else! Whenever I have a “blonde” moment, which by the way happens often. My husband always says “well at least you can paint a pretty picture”! Cracks me up everytime!

I forget where I put things all the time as well. So you aren’t alone!

And those look so yummy! Can you taste the mocha in them a lot? I am not much of a coffee/mocha girl but these look too good to pass up because I LOVE mint.

That makes me so frustrated! I do the same thing all the time, and I know that a couple of years ago, I would’ve remembered! What’s happening to me?? I’m only 24! I have quite a few years to start forgetting things!

Hello! I am a follower of your blog, and have been for a while! I am reaching out to the blogs I love as well as my readers for a little help and advice. I was nominated a while back for the Top Blog of the Year on Blog Guidebook. I am now in the top ten, and to reach the final round, which is the top TWO, I must beg and plead for votes. If you could in any way help me out, maybe if you could throw a bone to me on your blog, or if you require, I can do a giveaway! I have to find methods to gain voters and your help in some way would be greatly appreciated. Please met me know either way,as well as any ideas you may have. Thank you in advance! My blog is http://danajeanward.blogspot.com and the link to the voting page is http://www.blogguidebook.com. There is no registration, signup, or email required to vote, which is great, but finding routes to gain supporters is tough! I look forward to hearing from you!

I put things where I won’t forget where they are–then promptly do. It’s just because we women do so much and our brains are full. Ha!

    This recipe looks delish!
