Need a quick and easy gift to share with your friends or family? This Snowman Candy Jar is a cute way to share all that holiday candy that you bought too much of with others.

Can I just tell you how much I love snowmen? Oh, not the cold wet ones that are outside. I like the fluffy pretty ones that are all over my house at this time of year. I do like the outside snowmen too...as long as I am looking at them from inside my window.

A few weeks ago I was at Hobby Lobby buying...well, to be honest I don't remember what I was buying. Anyway, I wandered down the ornament aisle and found this cute snowman head ornament. He had to come home with me right away.

Reindeer Snack Cakes

These Reindeer Snack Cakes are an easy and fun treat for any and all holiday parties. Kids of all ages will love them.

I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to make a fun holiday treat this year.

Reindeer inspired treats have been following me everywhere I go...on pinterest, magazines, and TV. I took it as a sign that I needed to jump on board and create my own fun version. Now really there isn't anything different about mine than anything I have seen. Googly eyes...check. Red nose...check. Pretzel antlers...check. Yup, it's kind of the same thing everywhere you look.

My little twist was to use pre-packaged snack cakes for the head. I wanted something that was already dipped in chocolate, so I didn't have to do it. This is an easy treat people. So easy the kids could probably do it with their eyes closed.

Chocolate Peppermint Cheesecake Cake

This fun and decadent chocolate cake will be the star of any holiday meal this year. This Chocolate Peppermint Cheesecake Cake is actually easier than it looks, but don't tell your friends that. Let them think you are a kitchen diva and know how to rock your baking pans.

One of my favorite things about the holiday season are all the holiday shows on TV. I remember as a kid watching all the Christmas cartoons every single year. We would sit and watch Frosty, Rudolph, and The Grinch every single year, even when I was a teenager.

When our kids were younger, we would do the same thing with them. As they have gotten older, they kind of look at us funny when we turn these cartoons on. Where has the magic of childhood gone?

I think it died out when hand held devices became the rage. Time to institute the no gaming devices again, and plan a fun family movie night. Cake included!

This time of year I just can't resist the urge to buy all the fun seasonal candies and cookies that the stores have out on display. They really know how to market those items to shoppers. Put it out in front of the store or in the checkout aisles where I am sure to see it, and you can bet it will end up in my cart.

Now to resist eating it when it sits on my kitchen counter for weeks at a time. I have had these gingerbread cookies and M&M's in my kitchen for a few weeks now, just waiting for the right inspiration to use them in.

I kept looking at them and trying to decide what they would work in best, but then I would just go back to my peppermint obsession and make things like these Oreo Peppermint Crunch Cookies.

These easy NO YEAST cinnamon rolls can be made and eaten in less than an hour

So far we have gone through two containers of eggnog...in one week. And Christmas is still 20 days away! Oh, and only two of us actually like eggnog in our house.

My oldest finished off the first container so quickly that I had to buy another one and put a note on it that said "Do Not Touch". This is a very necessary note because that kid would seriously drink all of it in one day if I let him. I had these cinnamon rolls in mind, so I had to make sure the eggnog was there when I went to bake.

From November through December it is usually a food eating frenzy around here. Cookies, cakes, pies, fudge, and much more can be found just about anywhere we go. And I feel the need to "sample" all of it...in the name of research, of course.

Caramel Pretzel Cookie Dough Bites from www.insidebrucrewlife.com - no bake caramel cookie dough in between pretzels and dipped in chocolate

I know that with every sweet I post, I tell you it is my new favorite. And it's the truth. At the moment that particular thing becomes my all-time favorite sweet, until I make something else that tops it.

Right now, these Caramel Pretzel Cookie Dough Bites are my absolute favorite cookie dough treat that I have made yet. And there have been quite a few that I have loved. I think it is the combination of sweet & salty and smooth & crunchy that does it for me with these bites.

My husband really liked them, too... and he is really not a big sweets eater. Any time I find a treat that he approves of, it goes to the top of the must-bake list. (I did dip some of his in just all chocolate and topped them with sea salt...I think that's why he liked them so much.
