Every year, I enjoy making chocolate-covered popcorn for my loved ones. It is an easy treat that takes about 30 minutes. You can add almost anything to it to create a new version every time.

My favorite thing to do is chop up candy bars and mix them in with the chocolate-covered popcorn. This time, I decided to add some peanut butter to the white melting chocolate. Hello, peanut butter popcorn goodness!

I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to make a fun holiday treat this year.

Reindeer inspired treats have been following me everywhere I go...on pinterest, magazines, and TV. I took it as a sign that I needed to jump on board and create my own fun version. Now really there isn't anything different about mine than anything I have seen. Googly eyes...check. Red nose...check. Pretzel antlers...check. Yup, it's kind of the same thing everywhere you look.

My little twist was to use pre-packaged snack cakes for the head. I wanted something that was already dipped in chocolate, so I didn't have to do it. This is an easy treat people. So easy the kids could probably do it with their eyes closed.

One of my favorite things about the holiday season are all the holiday shows on TV. I remember as a kid watching all the Christmas cartoons every single year. We would sit and watch Frosty, Rudolph, and The Grinch every single year, even when I was a teenager.

When our kids were younger, we would do the same thing with them. As they have gotten older, they kind of look at us funny when we turn these cartoons on. Where has the magic of childhood gone?

I think it died out when hand held devices became the rage. Time to institute the no gaming devices again, and plan a fun family movie night. Cake included!

Now to resist eating it when it sits on my kitchen counter for weeks at a time. I have had these gingerbread cookies and M&M's in my kitchen for a few weeks now, just waiting for the right inspiration to use them in.

I kept looking at them and trying to decide what they would work in best, but then I would just go back to my peppermint obsession and make things like these Oreo Peppermint Crunch Cookies.

I know that with every sweet I post, I tell you it is my new favorite. And it's the truth. At the moment that particular thing becomes my all-time favorite sweet, until I make something else that tops it.

Right now, these Caramel Pretzel Cookie Dough Bites are my absolute favorite cookie dough treat that I have made yet. And there have been quite a few that I have loved. I think it is the combination of sweet & salty and smooth & crunchy that does it for me with these bites.

My husband really liked them, too... and he is really not a big sweets eater. Any time I find a treat that he approves of, it goes to the top of the must-bake list. (I did dip some of his in just all chocolate and topped them with sea salt...I think that's why he liked them so much.
