Pepperoni Alfredo Pizza Dip

Pepperoni Alfredo Pizza Dip: Layers of cheese, Alfredo sauce, and mini pepperonis makes a fun and delicious dip for game day, for parties, or as an after school snack.

Are you completely candied out right now?

I figured after a night dedicated to all candy, you could use a cheesy dish of goodness. Was I right?

Last night our younger two decided that they still wanted to go trick or treating in the cold. We let them and a few friends go up and down our street by themselves. They are still young enough that I didn't want them going any further by themselves.

Although with the rain and cold, they were perfectly content to let us drive them from house light to house light after they realized just how chilly it was to walk around at night.

It all started with these Pumpkin S'mores Bars and has escalated into a full blown s'mores addiction. Seriously, it's bad peeps. Like I want to s'mores-itize everything.

The other day I got a text from a friend wanting to know what goodies I would have a week from then. I really never know from day to day what I am going to be baking, so I asked what she would be craving the following week. Her response was cheesecake. She is definitely my kind of girl! Love me some cheesecake! And I love that I was her go to for dessert!

She also said that pumpkin cheesecake would be nice. Now I thought about making these Pumpkin Oreo Cheesecakes again, but this is me we are talking about. Any chance I get to make some new crazy dessert, I take it!

Chocolate and vanilla fudge layers with Oreo chunks and sprinkles

I used to be so much better about decorating our house for these holiday months. Over the past few years, I have done less and less. This year I didn't even get out the scarecrows. I have a few vases with some fall leaves and berries, and three Halloweens signs I just bought. Oh, and a metal skeleton in one of our plants. Actually that's really our only plant left because I seriously have killed them all.

Other than that no other spooky decor has emerged from our basement. The picture of the skeleton from 4 years ago doesn't count anymore...after being up this long he's like family now.

Chicken Alfredo Shells

I've noticed that Alfredo sauce is becoming a common ingredient in some of my pasta dinners. I used it in chicken Alfredo gnocchi and then shared a homemade version in this bacon shrimp Alfredo.

I also just realized that most of my pasta recipes contain bacon, which is really funny because I'm not a huge bacon fan. I must have been eating bacon wrong all these years. It's actually quite delicious covered in lots of cheese and sauce!

I realized that I must have been eating bacon wrong all these years. I do like it...as long as it is covered in tons of cheese and sauce! It's pretty tasty this way!

Over the years we have relied on the jars from the grocery store for quick easy meals. They taste fine and can make a meal like this chicken Alfredo Gnocchi in minutes, right? So, my husband and I have finally reached the cool factor in our oldest son's eyes.

You know that stage that teenagers go through where their parents are lame and so not cool. Yeah, I think we finally got out of that stage. Woo hoo! Lucky for us our younger two still think we are cool...we are hoping they skip the "we think our parents are uncool" stage.

My husband has an old Saab convertible that is his baby. Our oldest thought it was the ugliest thing. That is until some of his friends started saying how cool his dad's car was. And that they thought his dad was a cool dad too. All of a sudden he doesn't mind being seen at the movies with dad and mom when his friends are around. Score 1 point for the parents.

I had so much fun making these little cookies, although I really didn't have any real reason to make them.

I was able to send some to a lunch we had at church, and then I also brought some with me to one of our small groups that night. It is always fun to show up with desserts when no one expects it. I am starting to wonder if it really is a surprise anymore because they all know just how much I bake. I'm guessing they would be more surprised if I came empty handed.

Layers of fruit, yogurt, and granola makes a quick and easy breakfast for busy mornings.

My three kids are really not huge breakfast eaters, so I am always on the lookout for easy new ideas that will get their attention first thing in the morning. Most of the time anything chocolate does the trick, so I try to make a batch of these Double Chocolate Banana Muffins every so often.

But I do not want them eating chocolate for breakfast all the time either, so I try to offer some variety. Muffins, pancakes, and cold pizza are a few of the things they will usually go for if it is in our refrigerator.
