As much as I love tacos, I can get bored eating the same thing all the time. I do try to change it up and make chicken or fish tacos from time to time. Although, this gets dirty looks from our youngest. He thinks tacos should only be ground beef.

Sunshine, beach days, cookouts, fresh produce, and berry picking are all things I do not want to come to an end.

Well, I say berry picking very loosely. When our kids were little, I would take them to all the different fruit farms each month, and we would pick whatever fruit was in season.

Nowadays, berry picking means picking up a box of fresh fruit from the grocery store and turning it all around because no one wants to find rotten berries hiding inside. LOL!

Banoffee Chocolate Chip Cookies

Hhhhmmm, I should probably just blame myself and my apparent lack of self control when it comes to sweets. Naaaa...I will let the cookies take the fall. It's easier that way.

I had to freeze the rest of these banana chocolate chip cookies, just so I would stop eating them. For some odd reason, I won't pull frozen cookies out of the freezer and munch on them. So into the freezer they went until our son had friends over to swim.

Now if only I could get myself to freeze them or give them away as soon as I was done baking. That might be something I should work on this week...

Day two of school has come and gone. We got this getting up early thing. Well, the kids do anyway. I set my alarm for a little bit later, and then I get up to make sure they are ready to go and to say goodbye as they walk out the door.

Then I get myself ready to workout, drink a S'mores Latte, and start the day. Florida is still crazy hot, so I have to really keep myself motivated to do a workout in our garage.

Lots of water and a big fan are just two things that are totally necessary in our garage gym. Knowing that the freezer is full of pineapple popsicles is another good motivator.

Of course, these are not sugar free popsicles, so I guess that kind of defeats the purpose. LOL! But they are small and only have about 129 calories in each one, so it's not a huge diet killer if you have one.

I have quite an unhealthy obsession with bananas. I can't go to the grocery store without buying a bunch of them. Sometimes two bunches.

I can't bake without them. See these Banana Nut Cinnamon Rolls. I also can't eat them once they turn yellow. (Yes, you read that right.)

It's a real dilemma, because then I have to go buy more bananas to eat. Meanwhile, the yellow bananas continue to ripen on the counter.

My husband will eat some of them, but he can't keep up with all the ones I buy. The kids don't eat them that often either.

Mocha Fudge Milkshakes
