Indoor S'mores

Do you love s'mores? There is something so delicious about the combo of toasted marshmallow and melted chocolate sandwiched between crunchy graham crackers. The only thing I'm not fond of is the mess that comes along with making s'mores. And I'm not really a camping kind of girl...

I'm all for roasting marshmallows around a campfire once in a while in our backyard. But what I really love is finding ways to enjoy s'mores indoors in the comfort of my home. No smoke, no bugs, no sticky, messy fingers!

This gooey chocolate pie was inspired by the classic campfire treat. It has all the flavors of s'mores - graham cracker crust, creamy milk chocolate filling, and gooey toasted marshmallows in a pie form. It is the best way to enjoy a s'mores dessert, in my opinion.

Banana Cinnamon Rolls

These easy no yeast Banana Cinnamon Rolls combine the classic banana bread flavor with everyone's favorite cinnamon roll. This combo is a match made in heaven.

Do you have a bunch of ripe bananas on the counter and want something new and exciting to make with them? Bananas are such a versatile ingredient that can be used in so many different ways. Muffins, donuts, breads, cakes, cupcakes! You name it, I probably have added banana to it.

Normally, when we have ripe bananas, I make a loaf of this banana bread with sour cream. But I was craving cinnamon rolls, so I decided to mash up two recipes and create banana bread cinnamon rolls.

Oh, my goodness! Best idea of the week for sure. These no yeast banana cinnamon rolls were soft, gooey, and so delicious.

The best part about these rolls is that there is no rise time. And they can be made and eaten in less than an hour. They are one of my favorite ways to use up ripe bananas on the counter.

Still have leftover ripe bananas after making the banana rolls? Freeze them and make banana ice cream for dessert later.

Bonus: If you love cinnamon rolls, then try these orange sweet rolls or some funfetti cinnamon rolls.

Do you have a particular meal or food that you go to on the weekends? Our family loves appetizer style foods for movie or game nights. Air fried bacon wrapped jalapeños poppers or homemade chicken nuggets are usually on the menu.

But one thing that shows up just about every weekend is pizza.

Some weeks, we make our own pizza dough and other days, we rely on local pizza places to satisfy our cheese and pepperoni cravings.

Lemon Danish

Cheese danishes are a delicious treat that are usually enjoyed at coffee shops or bakeries. Did you know they are very easy to make at home, too? With just a few ingredients, you can enjoy a fresh breakfast pastry with your morning coffee.

I used this blueberry cheese danish recipe to make a batch of pastries for breakfast the other day. This time I added lemon curd to the top instead of blueberry sauce. This lemon Danish may be my new favorite.

While the pastries are cooling, cut mini stars out of strawberry slices with a tiny cookie cutter. That's totally optional and really not necessary if you are short on time.

You can also add a whole or half strawberry to the cheesecake pastry before serving. But seriously, the stars made this lemon cheese danish really cute and perfect for a 4th of July morning.

Disney Cake Pops

One of our favorite things to do at Walt Disney World is to try all the different Disney snacks. From Pineapple Dole Whip, to POG Juice, to Corn Dogs...we have tried them all. A few weeks ago my husband and I took a day trip to Magic Kingdom.

While we were there we stopped at the Grand Floridian where we tried the large Mickey cake pop from Gasparilla Island Grill. Oh, my! It was so cute and tasted so good!

Not everyone has the luxury or desire to visit Disney World or Disney Land all the time or even once, so I wanted to show you how easy it is to recreate some of the fun Disney treats at home.

We live in Florida, and when it is 90 degrees outside in the evening, you really do not want to sit around a campfire making s'mores. But during the summer, I crave chocolate and marshmallow treats, so I am always looking for ways to enjoy indoor s'mores.

Blonde brownies are one of my favorite desserts, so I decided to turn them into a pan of s'mores bars. I changed up these blonde brownies by adding lots of chocolate chips and marshmallow cream.

Holy cow! That was a terribly, no good, awesome, incredible idea! Awesome because they tasted amazing! No good because I couldn't stop snacking on them. These swirled s'mores blonde brownies had to leave our house right away because I couldn't be trusted around them.
