Want to know a secret? Can I tell you it without getting smacked or things thrown at my head? There was a part of my life when I did not like bacon.

Ok, I guess that is not entirely true because I have always loved eating BLT sandwiches in the summer. Well, as long as the bacon is super crispy that is. If the bacon is chewy, I'm out.

And I have been adding it to all the pasta dishes like this Cheddar Bacon Macaroni and Cheese. Maybe I just thought I don't like bacon, but I really did. Hhhhmmmm....

My husband and I are completely different when it comes to dessert. To be completely honest, he actually doesn't even like dessert that much.

I know! How is that even possible when there are desserts in our kitchen pretty much 24/7?!?!?!

With three boys in our house, that means every Sunday afternoon there are football games playing nonstop. It doesn't really matter who is playing, although they love to watch the Bears play as much as they can.

One of our favorite things to make for football parties are cheese dips. We always make this no bake buffalo chicken dip and an easy queso dip with lots of chips. Both dips are ready in under 15 minutes and will disappear from the party table right away.

The easy two ingredient queso dip is amazing by itself, but there are times that I like to add a twist to it! Say hello to our favorite Rotel chicken dip!

Years ago we created this awesome recipe by adding seasoned chicken and sauted veggies to queso. It always gets rave reviews when we share it with our friends!

My husband and I both enjoy working out. Well...I like it when I finish my workout for the day. There are plenty of mornings when I'm not so happy while doing lunges, crunches, rows, or whatever other torturous move I am doing in our garage gym.

Working out is only 10 percent of living a healthy life. The other 90 percent is all about eating right. When you eat right you feel better, have clarity, and have more energy. I know that I need all the energy I can get to get through the day.

Some mornings I start my day with either a protein shake or a smoothie, but every once in a while I like to change things up and make two ingredient pancakes.

About This Recipe

Being the chocolate lover that I am, I had to find a way to add more chocolate into my morning routine. A scoop of chocolate protein powder gives these simple pancakes a healthy boost.

I like to make a big batch of chocolate banana protein pancakes to keep in our freezer or refrigerator for a quick and easy breakfast on busy days. They are a chocolate version of these healthy banana oatmeal pancakes from a few months ago.

All you need is a blender and a skillet and you can have a batch of two ingredient pancakes for your breakfast too. They seriously take 30 seconds to mix together and a few minutes to cook.

Now I do have to warn you, these are not the big fat fluffy pancakes that you normally eat from a diner or cafe. They are a great alternative and a delicious choice when you are eating healthy or counting macros.
