    Edible Cookie Dough

    By Jocelyn · PUBLISHED July 10, 2020 · UPDATED March 20, 2022 · 6 Comments

Spread some Disney cheer by making a batch of Edible Cookie Dough with mini Oreos on top for dessert. Lots of colorful sprinkles and heat treated flour make this edible cookie dough recipe a fun and safe treat for everyone.

A clear cup filled with cookie dough and topped with two chocolate cookies making it look like Mickey Mouse.

One of our favorite things to do in Orlando is to stop at Disney Springs. It is so fun to walk around the shops and to buy all the desserts...for research. Wink, wink! These Disney marshmallow pops were inspired by marshmallow pops I saw there.

Of course, the Cookie Dough and Everything Sweet food truck was always one of my new favorite places to stop because I have a big sweet tooth. I love that they add chocolate cookies and bows on top of the cookie dough treats to make them look like Mickey and Minnie Mouse treats.

Of course, the truck isn't there anymore, so I decided to make my own edible cookie dough at home.

    Why This Recipe is Best

    • Easy to make in minutes!
    • Loaded with colorful sprinkles.
    • Mini Oreos on top make it look like Mickey Mouse.

Peanut butter swirls and chocolate covered pretzels add a fun flair to this Chubby Hubby Ice Cream Pie. This easy no bake pie recipe is the perfect summer dessert!

A white plate with a slice of chubby hubby ice cream pie and a fork with more pie behind it.

Growing up as a kid, I didn't like ice cream. I know, right? What kid doesn't like ice cream?

I think it was that I didn't like how cold ice cream was. But I always ate Jell-O pudding pops when we were at my grandpa's house. Looking back now, that makes no sense to me.

Both treats are cold, so why was I ok with one and not the other?

Good thing I grew out of that strange phase. I'm all about a bowl of ice cream or a slice of Neapolitan Brownie Ice Cream Cake these days.

Most of the time when crazy dessert ideas go through my head they are full of chocolate and peanut butter.  My husband just shakes his head and asks why everything has to be this combo.

Yes, he is kind of sort of crazy because he would rather have fruit instead of chocolate.

But because I love him, I let crazy fruit desserts enter my mind every once in a while.  He is one heck of a dad to our three kids, takes care of us no matter what, and works hard to provide for our family!

We are blessed to have him in our lives for sure!  So if he wants fruity desserts, I'm there for him!...

Years and years ago, my husband and I started baking cheesecakes together. We love the challenge of coming up with fun flavor combos. Some of our favorites are this Apple Crisp Cheesecake and this Banana Pudding Cheesecake.

But I have to say that this Strawberry Chocolate Cheesecake was the best cheesecake that we ever came up with.  It combined my love for chocolate cheesecake and my hubby's love for strawberry pie. It is seriously the best of both worlds.

And I'm just now realizing that we have a thing for pie and cheesecake mashups. LOL!

    No Bake Granola Bars

We are under an extreme heat advisory here in Florida. So no-bake recipes are on repeat all week long.

I decided to clean out the pantry and make some granola bars with whatever I found. Our kids eat granola bars like they are going out of style, so I decided that making my own is cheaper and better than the processed ones I have been feeding them.

I'm not sure if I will ever buy another box from the store again! These were so delicious and easy to make!

Now that summer is upon us, all I can think about are banana splits.  That's normal, right? Hot summer days and ice cream go together just like peanut butter and jelly.

Since my shorts really don't want me eating bowls of ice cream every day this summer, I started thinking of some new ways to incorporate the banana split flavors into dessert.

This Banana Split Bundt Cake and these Banana Split Cheesecake Rolls were the first two things I made. Then it got really hot, and I decided a few no bake desserts would be fun to make too.

My husband and I have been concentrating on eating right and exercising five days a week this past month. We have been using our garage gym to work out together in the morning.

Does that mean we cut out dessert? Not at all. If you have been around here for very long, you know that I am a huge fan of baking. And by baking, I really mean eating sweets.

I actually think my sweet tooth has gotten bigger over the years. This is not a good thing since summer is here, and it is time to wear shorts and swimsuits in public.  ...

Why You Will Love Chocolate Poke Cake

If you're a fan of strawberries and chocolate, you'll love this recipe for a strawberry fudge poke cake. It's a delicious twist on the classic poke cake, with the addition of a rich and creamy fudge filling that goes great with the strawberry topping.

    • Irresistible - The combination of sweet and tangy strawberry flavor with rich and creamy fudge is so good.
    • Moist - The poke cake technique allows the filling to seep into the cake, making it moist and flavorful.
    • Bursting with Flavor - The fudge and strawberry topping adds a burst of fruity freshness to the cake.
    • Beautiful Dessert - The pink topping, the dark fudge filling, and the chocolate cake make for an eye-catching dessert.

A few years ago I made this chocolate coconut cake.  It was my first poke cake using sweetened condensed milk.  The only poke cakes I had ever made before had pudding or Jello drizzled over the top.

A few weeks ago I made this coconut fudge poke cake, and I remembered why I loved poke cakes so much.  Now I can't stop thinking about different combos to try.

One of my guilty pleasures is eating cookie dough. Yes, I realize the danger involved in eating cookie dough made with raw eggs and raw flour. That still hasn't stopped me from digging in with a spoon each time I make a batch of cookies.

The other day I was craving cookie dough so, I decided to make a batch of edible cookie dough to snack on. These little Cookie Dough Truffles are the perfect way to indulge your sweet tooth.

The best part is that you can totally customize the flavors and textures to appeal to everyone's taste buds. Plus, no bake treats are the best when it is too hot to turn on the oven....

A brown wooden plate with four mini turtle cheesecakes topped with whipped cream and chocolate and caramel drizzles

Cheesecake is one of our favorite desserts around here. Well, for four of the five in our family anyway.  Our youngest son is our pickiest eater and prefers brownies over any other kind of dessert.

Some days I do question if he is ok. But then I make him these Homemade Chocolate Chip Brownies, and I realize that he has good dessert sense.

Now I do love me some cheesecake, but there are just days where I don't want to mess with all the time that is required to make this Banana Split Cheesecake.

Plus, mini cheesecakes are so much cuter and perfect for parties.
