    Peppermint Rice Krispie Pinwheels

One of my favorite and easiest treats to make for almost anything is M&M rice krispie treats. Nothing beats those soft, gooey treats! A few years ago, I gave my favorite treats a holiday makeover for Christmas. I combined my love of Rice Krispie treats and peppermint pinwheels into a pan of holiday goodness.

The first time I made these peppermint Rice Krispie treats, our kids thought I had stopped at a bakery and bought treats. They were so surprised you could make such a fancy treat at home, and they couldn't wait to help roll up another batch. Our kitchen turned into a holiday workshop that very next day!

Between the swirls of vanilla and peppermint and the sparkly coating, these spirals quickly became a family tradition. Plus, they're so pretty and always get compliments when we bring them to parties this time of year.

Why You'll Love These Peppermint Treats

Christmas Rice Krispie treats are a holiday must-have! Layers of vanilla and peppermint cereal rolled into fun pinwheels are always a hit with kids and adults.

    • They're a fun spin on a classic favorite, mixing a simple treat with festive holiday flavors.
    • The swirls of peppermint and vanilla add instant Christmas cheer to any dessert table.
    • No baking is required, which makes them quick and stress-free during the busy holiday season.
    • They are simple to make but look fancy. This makes them great for class parties, cookie exchanges, dessert platters, and holiday potlucks.
    • For the cutest edible holiday gift, package them in clear bags with a sticker and a bow.

    Red Velvet Blossom Cookies

Red velvet blossoms have quickly become one of my favorite holiday cookies. Their sparkly bright red color and a sweet peppermint kiss make them feel so Christmas-y. I usually make chocolate mint kiss cookies to serve with them, too.

I love how festive kiss cookies look when arranged on a platter. These red velvet blossom cookies are extra easy to make because I use a cake mix. You can make cookies with a fantastic chewy texture with just a few extra ingredients.

Also, if you roll the dough balls in red sanding sugar, they sparkle, making the beautiful red color even prettier.

    [feast_advanced_jump_to]

    Marshmallow Toppers

One of my favorite holiday traditions is decorating snowman marshmallow toppers. I started making them years ago when our kids were little. They loved adding these toppings to their hot chocolate after a day of playing in the snow. Now, I can't imagine the season without them.

I still enjoy making them for the neighborhood kids and our nieces and nephews. They make the cutest gift when given with a hot chocolate mix and a holiday mug.

Sure, you can buy ready-made bags of marshmallow snowflakes and snowmen in the stores, but making your own will save you money. You can create dozens of snowman toppers for the same price as a single bag of floaters from the store.

They're easy to assemble, and decorating them is a fun way to get creative. Plus, nothing is cuter than a little snowman floating in a cup of Nutella hot chocolate or peppermint mocha!

    Why Make A Floating Snowman

    • They're SO fun: These fun little toppers instantly make any hot cocoa or coffee feel magical.
    • Fun family activity: Creating marshmallow snowmen is a fun holiday craft for young children and teenagers.
    • Easy to make: In just a few minutes, you can make a large batch of adorable marshmallow treats to share with friends and family.
    • Perfect for gifting: Use them as stocking stuffers, put them in a hot chocolate gift basket, or include them on Christmas charcuterie boards.

    [feast_advanced_jump_to]

    Chewy Cardamom Cookies

I enjoy baking different cookies during the holiday season to share with our neighbors and friends. Most of the recipes are tried and true, but I challenge myself to create one new recipe each year.

This year, I transformed my chewy maple cookies into orange cardamom sugar cookies. I used honey to keep them soft and chewy, and then I gave them a warm citrus twist with orange zest and cardamom powder. They turned out perfect!

Honestly, these chewy cardamom cookies might be my new favorite. They have the best flavor combo and stay soft for a week. Plus, they're a great treat to enjoy with coffee or tea in the afternoon!

Why You'll Love Cardamom and Orange

    • Fresh, Sweet Taste: The orange zest and orange blossom honey add just enough citrus flavor. It's there, but it doesn't overpower the sugar cookies.
    • Warm Spice Flavor: Ground cardamom has a cozy, citrusy taste that goes really well with orange.
    • Soft and Chewy Texture: The extra spiced sugar coating gives them a sweet and slightly crunchy outside. Trust me, you will want to grab another one.
    • Perfect Holiday Cookie: This recipe is fantastic for parties or Christmas cookie swaps. Get ready to share your new favorite cookie recipe because everyone will ask for it!

    Peppermint Cookies

I can't get enough peppermint flavor around the holidays. Whenever I go to the mall this time of year, I visit Williams Sonoma and admire the fancy peppermint bark cookies.

They're so festive and delicious, but let's be honest—they're not exactly budget-friendly. That's how these peppermint chocolate-covered Oreos came to life!

I recreated those sweet treats at home, and I think they taste better than the store-bought ones! I love sharing them at a cookie exchange and having them for a late-night snack!

    Why Make This Holiday Treat

    • Super Simple: There is no need to bake or mess around with complicated steps—just dip, sprinkle, and enjoy!

    Festive Holiday Treat

I always grab a few bags of fresh cranberries as soon as they arrive at grocery stores. My first mission is to make whole berry cranberry sauce, which almost makes me forget about the canned sauce. But honestly, I buy the tart berries to roll them in sugar!

Sugared cranberries are a festive treat. They have a fabulous sweet and tart flavor and look so pretty with their sparkly coating. You can toss them on everything from cakes to holiday drinks to make them stand out.

The best part about making candied cranberries is that it is incredibly easy! You only need three ingredients and 20 minutes. I enjoy adding them to our apple cranberry cake and white chocolate cranberry cheesecake for that extra touch.

Why Make This Sugared Cranberries Recipe

    • Sweet and Tart Flavor: The mix of tart berries and sweet sugar is just too good to pass up.
    • So Pretty: That sparkly white sugar coating adds a beautiful and festive touch to any dish.
    • Easy to Make: They look extra fancy, but they’re actually so simple to make with just a few ingredients.
    • Versatile Party Snack: You can use them on cakes, garnish drinks, sprinkle them on salads, decorate cheese boards, or snack on them. They work for everything!
