Cheesecake is one of our favorite desserts to make. However, preparing a large cheesecake can be time-consuming, requiring baking and chilling.

Making a cream cheese pie is a time-saving solution. It tastes very similar to cheesecake but takes less time to bake and chill.

I added a layer of light and fluffy cream cheese mixture on top of the baked cheesecake. Then, I topped it off with sweet cherry pie filling to make the most amazing cherry cheese pie. This recipe is great for any occasion or simply when you're craving some cheesecake.

Since this frozen treat is difficult to find after the holiday season, I made homemade peppermint ice cream to enjoy year-round. The hardest part is waiting for it to churn and freeze.
